After insulting all the men and women in law enforcement Obama trys to "smooth" things over with a six-pack! If I were that sargent I would do two things:one: demand a "straight apology"two: refuse to go unless I was at least offered Chateau LaFitte 1970, caviar over truffels and duck eggs.
It's clear there is only one group who has long term effects from our Civil War that was started to prevent the Southern States from seceding from the Union. Perhaps if we were taught the truth about the reasons for the Civil War there wouldn't be such a mess now. I don't see other people in our world trying to involve other cultures into their country as much as the United States. Perhaps we are only feeling a natural separation and should embrace it instead of trying to make believe it can be corrected. Our dear President has not apologized for his thinking process. Why should we? As long as we do not act on our aggressive feelings toward other cultures, it should be considered normal to feel "separate". What say you?

Well looks as if the "Beer Summit" is on for tomorrow. I think police Sgt is in a damed if you and damed if don't situation. On one hand I think he knows he's being used my Obama in a big media propaganda "dog and pony" show. On the other hand if he fails to show up it will play right into Obama's hands and make him and the Cambridge police department look bad.
I'm sure the white house press people will be wagging the hell out of the dog. I'm hopeing that Obama over plays his hand and makes a fool out of himself.

As A former law enforcement officer I have been in situations were I stopped them for a minor infraction and before I could explain what I stopped them for they would start calling me everything but a sewing machine. This happened with both blacks and whites. It was just lack of charcter that ended up with them in jail.
The very biased media and the idea of "Politically Correct" is what is wrong. This President has had an extremely long Honeymoon. Why is he trying to micromanage these sort of things. A good neighbor notified the police of a possible break in, and the officer did his job. I would be glad to have a neighbor watching out for me, and upset if the officer didn't insist on proper ID. There was no racial profiling. The neighbor reporting the possible burglary never mentioned race. Also, do what the officer tells you!
