Why would my Father-in-law's name, Robert C. Olsen, Seaman/2c, NOT be listed on the crew-members page for the USS SPICA, 1944-45? That's the ship he was on! Any comments appreciated.

Just a general observation. Most ships roosters are maintained by some one that served on that ship but does not know who or when others served unless notified. That person is usually a member of that ships association.
You might check to see if the Association has a web site.. Most do..
