Looking for long lost shipmates

I served on the Big E on the 71 westpac cruise and was ready to ship out again when a family emergency got me transferred to China Lake.  I have lost touch with all my old squadron shipmates from VF-142.   Does anybody out there know how i might get a list of the names of the sailors that was in my squadron? I would really like to at least try and look some of them up on facebook but for the life of me i cannot remember last names on many of them and the few that i do remember do not show up.This is my first Blog so please excuse me if i am in the wrong part of this site to ask for info.

I have many fond memories that some people just flat dont believe happened !    Like i have tried to tell my son( that is in the service now) that it was a very different Navy back then.

Anyway,if there is anybody out there who might have served with me please give me a shout OR if you have any idea of how i might obtain a roster of my squadron that would be great.  Thanks a lot

I too was in VF-142 and made a cruise on the USS Ranger in 1965. I was an AQF2.

I was discharged in November of 1966. I currently live in Walla Walla, WA.
