I have been reading on cnn and fox news news sites about these hijacks at sea from these pirates, the U.S. Government knows where they operate from why don't we do something to these terrorists, I mean we are fighting in Iraq and in Afganistan to end terrorism but yet the political big shots are allowing a small under developed country take over the high seas and do what ever they want. well the pirates did it again, or at least tried, this time they fired on a unarmed merchant ship, thankfully no one was hurt, i this what is going to happen before the U.S. takes action? also secretary of state clinton stated the the obama administration was planning on taking the property and assests of the pirates, lot of good that will do because you cant take something they don't have
why not send in special ops teams and capture or kill the leaders of the pirates and then move in troops to occupy until everything settles down. sounds good to me. or just pace a blockade around the country. .
I will always respect the office of the U.S President, but I cannot respect a man or person who dose not respect the very people who got him into office, I don't know if Obama had served in the military but i feel he should have then at least he would know what we went through and are going through and then we probably won't have a ship in the Indian Ocean sitting there doing nothing while these pirates are kidnapping people and holding them for ransom, all this President is, is a "Pretty Boy" who made history being the fist African- American to become a U.S. President. Shoot the terroists and make more history by not letting the get by with what they are doing.

White House officials travelled to France at the start of March to discuss a visit by Mr Obama to Omaha Beach, the site of the American Cemetery, established in 1944 just after D-Day and where 9,387 American personnel are buried. Among them is Theodore Roosevelt Jr the eldest son of the 26th US President.
I don't want to see Americans die, but watching our government's reaction to Korea's missile launch (while we cut missile defense spending), the pirates taking of the ship, Iran's bragging of enriching Uranium, and Obama coming back from Europe with no additional help from the international community in Afghanistan and Iraq, I'm almost indifferent to it all.
I'm not sure Obama is a coward, but I do believe he's an 'internationalist' and a pacifist. Someone once told me it took Carter to get a Reagan. As our defenses weaken and our country is seen as less of a superpower, Americans will pay the price.
That's when Americans will understand that peace is something that's acquired by power, not by pacifism... and that their vote for hope and change will be smashed by their trust in government.
I have faith in America, though, and we'll bounce back. Hopefully a little smarter!
terrorisim is just that, what are they waiting on, another attack on the united states? its time america and especially our president, its time to wake up and smell the disgust that is in the air, its not the so called super powers we need to watch for, its the small no one cares about countries, because they are getting rich and powerful from all the ransom that is being payed to them.

I have been watching the situation non-stop since it started this week. We have people in Washington that basically have no balls to deal with this situation. Instead of handling situations like he should, obama was on a Bash America tour and bowing down to the Saudi King. What a coward!

With that said, no one, absolutely NO ONE, will ever change my mind on obama.
