Navy Days

I will be 71 in June and I believe in keeping the memories of my Navy Days, and perhaps yours, alive. I live my life vicariously through my service as it was one of the best periods of my life. In 2010 I wrote my memoirs, Navy Days Memoirs of a Sailor in the 60's. It's still out there on Amazon. I own several t-shirts and patches depicting my radioman sparks and ships - Saratoga and FD Roosevelt. About six months or so ago I bought a magazine called " The Official CBS Watch! Collector's Edition NCIS. In it they said that Mark Harmon receives gifts from veterans. So I thought why not from me? So I went to the post office and mailed CBS a copy of all three of my books with a letter stating why I mailed them. I said I wanted nothing in return for the books because I have donated them to other organizations.

Updating my info

I am in the process of updating my info at Goodreads in between breaks from vacuuming and running the spot bot. After I've finished with that I plan to up date my info at Shelfari and then create a profile at Library Thing.
Hope this will increase book sales.
