"I schooled aboard the USS Recruit 1964 company 036, I got a chance to see the USS Recruit Oct. 2010 it is a memorial now. People in San Diego on bikes and walking thanked me for being in the Navy. Where the Training center was it is very relaxing…"

"The YR-70 had to be towed in order to move any where the only power was the generator that powered the lights and machine shop, engine repair, electric shop and the weld shop. All of the repair crew that worked nights sleep on the top…"

i know the apl were not nice places i was ship company and had better living condition the personnel that worked other place live on board like hatch teams which came and went different times of the day
