Training Squadron Twenty-Two VT-22

Training Squadron TWENTY-TWO was first formed on 13 June 1949 at Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi, Texas, to furnish jet transitional training for newly designated naval aviators. Designated Advanced Training Unit SIX (ATU-6), it received its first aircraft, a TV-1, in July of that year. This was the first unit in the training command to instruct in jet aircraft.See More

This is not the only site, there is www.navybuddies.com, www.togetherweserved.com, www.military.com. Plus there a slew of web sites for individual commands, not to mention association web sites like Cruiser Sailors Assoc, etc. Those places can keep you surfin the web for hours. If you are looking for sailor stuff www.4armedforces.com is the place to go, I was like a kid in a candy store when I first found that site:)
