"Charles, was NORFOLK a 1200 pound plant?  I have some boiler specs and prints of her boilers, but have seen evidence that she may have steamed them at only 900 psi."

"I was one 2 ships during the ND conversion.  In fact, the second one (USS MITSCHER DDG-35) was the only ship in the Navy that converted to ND and had to convert back to NSFO.  We couldn't burn ND!!!"

To all LITTLE ROCK vets, I help with the week-long working party on the ROCK in Buffalo every spring.
