Hi Doc Hunter, I don't believe that I ever met Doc Young I was onboard 72-73 our leading chief was SCPO Acker, and two others were CPO Burke and CPO Bullock. It is a shame that you fell right between the war periods. I am a Life Member of the VFW and an All American Commander '91, to be honest though after working so hard to become an All American that I discouraged when all they wanted to do was drink at the bar. I don't really participate anymore.
