My Time in GTMO

I was in GTMO from April 1969 to April 1970. I worked at the O2 N2 generating plant that was adjacent to the Fuel Farm on Leeward Point. We didn't live in the barracks, we stayed in a Quonset hut right at the site. We worked for Chief Charlie Sullivan. Looking back I would say the time spent there was pretty enjoyable

Do you recall the Ford pick-up the Chief used to drive and the two dogs.I believe one was named Beano. That little 2nd Class with the black glasses was their caretaker. Can't remember his name. I think one of the guys last name was Samson. I do remember some of those nites we spent at the E.M. Club and the Jamaican bartenders. I see you live in Matawan. Not to far from from me. I live in South Plainfield I can send you my e-mail address if you want to relive the glory days. Hope to hear from you
