"Actually the original sim belonged to the air force....we had an open house in 60 and some air force brass noted the serial number..checked it out..and it was missing from their inventory.. After that we had to give them equal time.  Night…"

"OK guys it was an R6-D  I worked (played) on it in 60-61. Remember one pilot we gave an engine fire to. He feathered then dumped fuel. Lit the whole thing up. BTW are you members of the Tradevman Association.  We will be getting together…"

Salute your colors

A few years ago the U.S. flag code was changed.  Veterans should now salute the flag as it is raised lowered or passes in review.  A salute should be given when the national anthem is played.See More

West Memphis

OK guys..now for serious stuff.......How many will admit to an evening enjoying the honky tonks in West Memphis with the chicken fence enclosed stages and Elvis wanna bes?  Lovely evenings they were...with a required visit to a bootlegger before hoppin a cab across the river.  Seems I recall a few sidewalk stewardesses also.See More

Jim,

If you go to my page you will see a couple of photos of me, one of which has me standing by the FAETUPAC sign in front of the main building. When I was there the R6D trainer, film library and ASW lab were in that building. We had the P-3 trailer just across the road.
