On the road to the Ferry near the Triangle where I was stationed in 1970. This was one of the slums where a lot of refugees from the area around Da Nang had set up to avoid the fighting outside of the city. Sitll, we would hear auto-matic M-16 weapons being fired in the refugee camps almost every night. Not sure why.
