Hi Billy.. I was on there from 1977-79 and we had a New Recruit who ran across the flight deck, after a Jet just landed and the arresting gear came back and caught his legs ripping them both off, and they flew him to Guam, never found out if He died and do not remember his name.

jerry in 1964 a sailor was killed on the flight deck name was ralph Thompson I think what div and how was he killed
