Yeah, I remember "the needle," -- actually lots of needles. When I was at Navy Recruit Training Command-Orlando back in '75, our whole company would "one step" single file between a gauntlet of Navy corpsmen armed with needle guns that made a "clang" sound when the trigger was pulled. We're probably imune from every disease known for the rest of our lives, including a few they haven't discovered yet.
