As a matter of fact, when Capt. J.M. Gammon left the Vancouver. He took command of the Iwo. Fine Skipper.

The "Iwo' was part of the amphib squad of ships that sailed together in the westpac along with my ship the Vancouver LPD 2 in the 60's & 70's.
