We bounced quite a few of these during my tour on the Lady Lex. Had a god friend walk into the prop on one, late one afternoon. Lord what a mess that was.
Excellent Picture. That may be an S-2 tracker belonging to the VS-30 Diamondcutters before they converted to the S-3 Viking. I am not positive but the Diamond formation on the tail is a clue. I tried to look up VS-30 history but no images of S-2's show up. As a ex-member of that squadron, I remember in the hall way to the ready room seeing a section that showed the history of VS-30 with TBM's and S-2's.
