The YR-70 had to be towed in order to move any where the only power was the generator that powered the lights and machine shop, engine repair, electric shop and the weld shop. All of the repair crew that worked nights sleep on the top compartment, witch was built while I was there. We had a small boat repair shop tied up next to us. This picture shows the YR-70 up for auction after being decommissioned.
