I was a plankowner on the USS Whidbey Island from 1985 - 1988 I was a engineman assinged to AMR2 then MMr 2 during my tour I did a northern wedding cruise and a med cruise. My time onboard was a true life changing experience for me. It also gave me a chance to see some places that I would never have been able to see.
