I made two Med Cruises on Ike in 1981/82 and 1983 with the VAQ-132 Scorpions. I had four months TAD to the ship's post office with a guy from one of the F-16  squadrons named Patrick Sheehy (sp). I can't find him anywhere. Any help?

Rode IKE for the "83 Med deployment and the "84-85 Med deployment as part of CVW-7, Attack Squadron 12 (VA-12). I still consider IKE my home away from home!

Just another G3 redshirt (AO2) 1989-91.  I ran the electric forklift shop during the desert shield cruze and part of drydock before discharge.

MR2 Keith Chirgwin' Did the Med cruise in 83-84, Was off the coast of Beruit during the Marine bombing. Was supposed to be out to sea for 6 months. We stayed 9 months. Got relieved and did a few months in drydock. Then headed out for work ups. Then back on another 6 month Med cruise. I finished my enlistment on the USS Fulton in New London Conn. 10/17/82 - 10/17/86

I did two med floats on the ike i was in dc division first med i think i spent half of it in list control now if anyone doesnt know where that is it is close to the keel of the ship the propeller shafts are 10 feet above your head. My second med float iwas a Dc3 and stood dcws watch alot nicer place to stand watch as dc central is airconditioned. I left Ike shortly after that and went to the gator navy, what a shock to the system that was.
