On the Truxtun (CGN version) we were happy to get below and get a shower, it was a long day and we were just happy to have become "Shellbacks" and were willing to wait until yje next time :)

They wouldn't let us do that,Nick,or me& about 100 NEWBIES would have jumped back in line to have a little fun,but our XO & BMC were watching us like an albatross on a sardine.

It's amazing how fast the new Shellbacks grab a whacker and get in line to dish out some medicine to the "Wogs" still coming through. If I'd know that, I would have fought harder to be at the front of the line...Here's the "Royal Doctor's" giving me the business...heh heh heh!!

All Poly Wogs meet their fate and become Shell backs! Or they remain "wogs" for the rest of their lives!

Our memorbalia is part of our lives. I would say that you are now a part of the USS Salem museum.

I kept min e also, over a year ago I donated a bunch of memorbalia to the USS Salem museum. Really have no one to leave it to, decided to donate to a floating museum, so future generations can see it!
