Did the ditch during world cruise in 1988 as the throttleman onboard the USS Stien FF-1065. Did it again in 2005 or 2006 onboard the USS Tarawa LHA-1 doing excersises in the MED, went through and back.

Was aboard LPH2 USS Iwo Jima in 75 with CH53 Squadron HM-12 aboard that swept for mines prior to the reopening of the canal. Then 7 years later aboard the JFK I actually did the ditch, the first of several.

Past through the Suez Canal onboard USS Kalamazoo Aor 6 as part of the USS America battle group.  This was during Desert Shield.  Came back through the canal after the completion of Desert Storm.

I did the Ditch on board USS America (CV-66), southbound in late 1982 and northbound in 1983. Re-enlisted on the flight deck while northbound, underway with sand to port and starboard.

Did the transit onboard the USS Mullinnix (DD-944), with USS America Battle Group, in 1983.  The souther transit was in February and the northern was in May.
