May 1965 I was assigned to Recruit Company 227 Chief Gunners Mate Cook was

Compnany Commander and i was Master At Arms. From there I went to Basic Electrical  Power school and Radarman "A" school.

was there for OSVET trng in 80, really a breeze for prior service grunts,

I remember jack neely the 18 yr veteran who came in as a seaman, with a full chest of medals and hash marks down both arms, along with other green beret / seal ribbons, that was one cool dude, the oldest seaman ever I think there or in the navy as far as comeing in after being gone so long
