William Towne, I see you still like to tell stories....You did not save that girls life, it was mere chance. I saw the pictures of the Silver Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertable you let that girl drive. I remember a lot from when I was a kid. It was an accident. Give me her name and DOB and last known state she lived in, I will look her up and ask her if you saved her life or if you happened to get hurt more than she did. I find some things hard to believe coming from an individual who bragged about being a POW, Navy Seal and Vietnam War vet who earned 2 purple hearts. In case you want to deny it, I'll show you a pic, look at the ribbons, this photo was after you were in the service....according to your records, you were only a recipient to 3......mighty big rack for 3 ribbons...

Was stationed here when it was NRMC Portsmouth. October 1981- January 1984. I worked 2-E medical peds and 11-A surgical peds. I met my husband when they combined the two wards when 2-E was being remodeled. We were married in the chapel December 1982.

Well this was my first duty station outside of boot, HM "A" school, and FMS school. There from Jan.1992 to June 1993. I was assigned to ward 6B and then 12C. 6B was an ENT, Plastic, Urology, Gastronomy, and Pain management floor. However, we had a number of ER and alcohol abuse patients. Learned a lot on this floor. 12C was a GYN, General Med, and toward the end of my time there had 4 isolation rooms for the increase of TB patients coming back from Somalia.

Side note, I was married in downtown Portsmouth. However, 17 years later we are getting divorced.
