This was the control station for the Shipboard Simulator. From here I could set the conditions that the trainees faced (sea state, RADAR contacts, engine condition, open ocean or narrow straight, etc). We simulated everything from basic navigation to battle conditions.

I was stationed here from 1987-1990 as the Shipboard Simulator Instructor (as well as the repair & maintenance guy). I also worked in the Annual Training office and taught 3M too.

This was my last duty station before I left the Naval Reserve program.
