I was an EN at the FAC; 1977 to 1979. Great Memories of the good times and good friends. And some pretty "skate" duty.

I was a corpsman and was in Argentia in 1958 and 1959. I was there at the same time as Bill Cosby. I will always remember the 2 years as 2 of the best years of my life.

I was an ET at the RATCC.  Apr 67 - Sep 69.  Made Chief in ARG.  When did it become a NAS?  I was under the impression that it was a NS  Naval Station.

I was there 1962-63 with VW-13. I really enjoyed the place and met a lot of great people.

Must have, you know I was thinking how many people climbed that "hill" behind the base. Myself and two buddies of mine did just that and found a bunker and two big naval guns. I also loved it when lobsters were in season and you get huge lobster for two bucks.

Harry we must have missed each other by months. I served in Argentia from 59 - 62. I was the editor of the Foghorn (base newspaper).

I served from 62 - 64 with VW 11. I've heard that most of the hangers and buildings have been dismantled or torn down.
