I understand that because active duty are prevented from running for partisan office, and many of us had trouble keeping track of our state of residence politics while serving in another state/country, and finally many of us didn't even get our absentee ballots in time to vote.However, what can we do to get more veterans elected to public office?I find myself listening to news reports on DC's position relating to the wars, and I wonder... How might our foreign and defense policies be different if Congress wasn't made up of 80% lawyers & instead had a larger percentage of veterans serving?

Good post Zoie, I'm with you..... this whole big game of politics today is the biggest farce I've ever seen. So corroupt it makes garbage smell like Roses... damn sure need to do something !!!!
