Gotta Question about hte USS FORRESTAL

Does anyone remember if there were JBDs on the flightdeck...My Squadron did a MED CRUISE with the USS FORRESTAL 64'-65' ...and while I did not have any connection with anything on the flightdeck..... there were times I remember walking around it while we were in port...I don't remember seeing any....Gotta argument to settle...friendly type though
