My husband was with NAVSECGRU stationed at Kamiseya.  We used to take the train to the Navy base, which I thought was Yokohama.  We used to go shopping at the big commissary.  We were there from 1970 to 1971.  The commissary held a raffle at Christmas.  For ever $10 you spent, you got a raffle ticket.  We spent $100 and got ten tickets.  My husband won the grand prize TV set.

Apparently he caused a lot of talk, because he made a scene.  He came home dragging the TV set.

I am looking for anybody who remembers the grand prize drawing.  I also want to talk to anybody who served at Kamiseya from 1970 to 1971.  Thanks
