Was assigned to VA-42 in 1962 when they had AD-6's. Wondered what they needed an AQB for on an AD-6. In early 1963, I think, we got the first couple of A6A's. Whill stationed there trained VA-75, VA-65, VA-85 and a couple of others, including a Marine Squadron. VA-42 used to have a green pawn as its logo. When did it change?
