I was stationed on board the USS Shenandoah AD-26 from 1972-1974 homeported in Norfolk Virgina. I was a ML3 working for a MLC Langham in the foundry. We had two resistor furnaces but in the two years i was onboard they refitted them with an induction furnace. It was my 1st command I'll never forget the great times i had onboard the SHEN CAN DO.
