  • hello to all the boys from 78-82 med deployment, I was an engineman in the ice house under Chief Haller. Was a great man and did a lot for me. Any one heard from him?

  • I was stationed aboard from May  1972- Dec1975 was assigned to DECK 3rd Div Crane deck..as BM 2 ,,also boat div when created,   Canvas locker too.  Enjoyed my stay and did Operation Pegesus ,,in 1972 which created Home port change from Newport RI to Norfolk Va ,,,,

  • Was onboard from Feb. '80 to Feb. '82, rode her over to Geata, Italy. Was an HT in the pipeshop, 56A. Played on the ships, softball, football, and basketball teams.

  • I am a plank owner ,Came on board April 68 until Jan.69 ,was in the supply Div.

    Great ship good crew .

  • Cross decked from the Albany May 1980 until Aug 1984, From a BT3 to a BT1.

  • Was on board 84-87 started as HTFN in pipeshop, made HT3 then transferred to DC Div. till I got orders to Operation Deep Freeze and went south.

  • On board 79-80. Optical shop R-5 Div. Made 1st.

  • PUGET SOUND 1974-1977 FIRST DIV /RI CANVAS SHOP
  • I was stationed on the Puget Sound as a BMSN just after they took over 6th FLT from the Albany.  Early 80 (I think).  Didn't stay long, 6 months.
