Looking For Friends Of My Biological Father

I know this is a long shot and I'm going to hope for the best. I'm looking for anyone who may have known my biological father. I never got to meet him as he died in 2003 and I didn't know or meet the family until last year. (Ancestry DNA test)

His name was Vernon Anthony Hart Jr. (Rochester, NY) and he was a DK stationed with CVG 8, USNAS Oceana as late as December 20, 1963. I was told he did at least one Med cruise on Forrestal during that period, early-mid 60's. It sounds like he was NOT part of ship's company, but I have no idea for sure. I'm still waiting for his service records to be mailed from Kansas City.

One of his closest friends at the time, "Kenny" is still alive, has family in NYC and is now living in Florida. That's all I know about him, sorry.

I have no idea where these pictures were taken. Vernon is on the right in the 2nd & 3rd pics. Any help or direction to cruise books would be greatly appreciated.

As the universe is one big joke, I served in the Marines and did a Med Cruise onboard USS Coral Sea CV-43 (Command Chief Investigator) in 1989. There's a good chance we visited one or more of the same liberty ports.

UPDATE: I did find him in the USS Forrestal (CVA 59) Mediterranean Cruise Book 1962-63. I added two pictures from that book (top right corner). Do any of you know any of the other crew members in that S4 Div?
