Plankowner on USS Benfold (DDG-65), picked her up in Ingles Shipyard and took her through her first deployment... Best Damn Ship in The Navy
I loved the Benfold.1st ship retro-fitted for women,I think.I missed being a plankowner by a few days,hahaha. Great crew.Command Master Chief was a little quirky,lol. Awesome CMDR-skipper.I was THE cook on board,lmao.
