USS Alamo (LSD-33) was a Thomaston-class dock landing ship of the United States Navy. She was named for the Alamo, site of the 1836 Battle of the Alamo.

I am Jerry Ballard and I joined the Navy in 1974 and the USS Alamo LSD-33 was my first ship. I look forward to finding friends who once served on her with me but look forward to meeting those who i never met also.
