      BTC, I remember a quote you once's said as a BT1 " Sick an tired of being sick an tired!! ". Looking back on it now, man, Out side of San Diego, We would go to work, every 7-10 days were somewhere in the world( PI, Hawaii, Panama, Korea,) All I do now is go to work!( Shift work! Still). Don't miss those boiler inspections! The fire side and th water side! The BT eye liner look !! BT3 RK

    Burnerman/Topwatch Light fires 1Alpha Boiler. Topwatch/Burnerman light fires 1Alpha Aye! TW/BM Fires lit 1A Boiler! No drips, good flame pattern. Maincontrol/1Fireroom, Fires lit 1Alpha boiler etc. etc..so starts the 6/6!! Light off!! Showed this picture to my daughter and she ask me if we did that all day? Yea, baby, and a paycheck too!! Never had a bad light off under BTC Warner!

      Too bad she now rests at the bottom of the sea in Davy Jones Locker.There was nothing rusty about Rusty he was a top notch burnerman in my book!

      When I first saw that photo of WHS all shot up, tears you bit. Didn' luv her at the time, but luv her now! makes you feel old. We go to USS lexington down in Corpus Christi TX, and down in the engin rooms telling whats, whats to my daughter, I always have a crowd gather. Same engins as WHS. Boiler rooms ain't open. Might be a tour guide some day. steal us some Atomizors!! RK

      I put the Long. and Lat. of where the ship rests now, the Aussies sunk her in a exercise in the south china sea,they had to tow her a long way.Yes it is sad that we spent so much time to insure she stayed afloat and made her commitments and gone in a few minutes.But the fish love her now.
