Three Tours at Bethesda
Started my naval career at Bethesda in 1957 on ward 4-D (thoracic and general surgery) and the Delivery Room. Attended Laboratory School at Naval Medical School in 1962-63. My last tour was with the Naval Medical Exhibits program, attending many medical /dental conventions over a four year period, shipping and maintaining exhibits and audio-visual equipment.

Was there from 1990 - 1994.. Assigned to Patient Admin (LPO), Navy Liaison (LPO), Patient Admin Supply Officer, Med Hold (QA LPO)
Went through EEG Tech C School there in 1979. Army medics trained with us. The Neurology Clinic there was the most impressive I have ever seen before or since. Alot of VIP patients. I did a test on a former Johnson Administration cabinet secretary. Just another patient to take care of but I could barely move as I was setting up because of all the acolytes and hangers on coming around.
It was an amazing experience because here we just young people who were given a great deal of responsibility and the simple expectation to do things perfectly.
