Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Center, Los Angeles, CA

This building was once the location for training Navy and Marine Corps reservist in Los Angeles, CA down the hill from Dodger Stadium on Stadium Way in the Elysian Park area. Excerpts from the 1957 movie, "The D.I." starring Jack Webb using actual Marines were filmed at this location.

This was my first duty station when I got be in the naval reserve attached to HQ Btry 5/14 at Chavez Ravine.
