  • I attended AC "A" school there August/September and went right to "B" school next.

  • My first duty station 1959 - 1961 as a TN working at the BOQ, my first experience in racial discrimination.

  • I was at NATTC Glynco in the spring of ’71 for AC A school. We were marching to school one morning just as they imploded one of the blimp hangars. I was back in 1974 for B school. Hated the humidity, but loved the chow hall!
  • I was stations at NATTC Glynco for AN/SPN-10 school in 1967 until early 1968 when I was stationed on the USS Independence CVA-62

  • Was at NATTC Glynco 3 different times. 1965-66 as a Seaman (ET Striker) awaiting ET”A” School. Worked in TEMO helping to maintain the back lot GCA trailers for tech and AC training (Acky & Pelican included). 1967-68 as an ET3 student in the CPN-4 and FPN-36. 1971-74 as an ET1 AN/CPN-4 instructor and packed out the school for the move to Millington.

  • Went to AC "A" school there June / August 69.  Who can ever forget walking through the  roped off (falling ceiling")  areas in the blimp hangers  to get to class rooms that were on the sides!
