HI DOUG SEE MY QUESTIONS THIS ROGER IVES
need to no where to find the aircraft intermediate maintenance depart for vt26 please?
I reported aboard NAS Chase Field in January of 1990. Became the manager of the auto service center/boating and camping. Knew this was my last duty station. I turned the lights out February of 1993 with everyone else that remained. It was a "trip" to say the least.
I was a member of VT 25. I arrived in Jan 1968 and was transferred to sea duty in July of 69. Funny it was a relatively short stay, but it seemed so long at the time. I have been back once and hardly recognized the town of Beeville. It certainly has grown. Mark Webb has been involved in organizing the "All Hands" reunions and I salute his work. I was not able to attend, but a few of my friends were and they said it was great. I enjoy the Chase Field web pages and the pics. Look forward to hearing from the many friends I made in Texas and will pass the word of this website along to those here and in Jersey, NY, and Pa.
My first duty station. Worked at OMD. SAR and Aircrew for the Base C-47. 1969-1972.
